The book i am reading is called Dear John. It starts off with the past and the life that john one of the main characters lives. His father is a coin dealer and they are not very wealthy his father is more worried about different coins and not him or there living area. His father and him have not been talking because hes tired of always hearing about the coins his father has found or bought, so then he decides to go into the army and do something for himself. He soon comes home for a visit and is staying with his father but everything is quiet while being there. John decides to go surfing and ends up on the peir of the beach enjoying his time back. A few girls come to the board walk he caught his eye by one and couldnt help but stare. One of the girls drops her bag off the peir and into the water, nobody wants to go into get it and he decides to go in before she did. She then thanks him for getting her bag.
Does John and the girl start seeing each other? What did John plan on doing when he got home from the army?

ReplyDeleteHave you seen the movie? Do you think the book is going to be the same as the move it seems like it is so far. If this book is like the movie then its going to be a good story because the movie is really good its a tear jerker but its good.
